Colombia has a rapidly growing crypto ecosystem. The most used platforms are Binance (most popular by volume), Buda.com (regional exchange), and Bitso. You can deposit Colombian pesos (COP) via bank transfer, PSE, or Nequi/Daviplata.

The P2P (peer-to-peer) market is especially active in Colombia, allowing you to buy crypto directly from other users with multiple payment methods.

Colombia does not have specific cryptocurrency regulation, but the Financial Superintendency has issued statements indicating that cryptocurrencies are not legal tender. Exchanges operate under general e-commerce regulations. In 2021, Colombia launched a regulatory sandbox to test crypto services.
